PowerPoint Project #1: How to Succeed in Business
Let’s see if you have listened to my gripes about PowerPoint! You are to create a PowerPoint presentation to supplement an oral presentation. Your speech does not have a required length, but you are expected to provide an adequate presentation that teaches us something about how to succeed in business.
Each person must select a person from this website—
Use the names listed with the pictures in the upcoming post.
This links are set up in a way that really helps you organize a PowerPoint. It provides the “lessons” you need to set up the presentation. You are expected to KNOW your content. Fill out the “notes” section on the PowerPoint with what you are going to say IN YOUR OWN WORDS. You will not be allowed to use notes on the presentation itself. You may have ONE NOTECARD with information if you need it. But, do not read to the audience!
Remember to avoid using very many words per slide, use visual aids to trigger memory for yourself and retention for your audience, and to be entertaining. DO NOT bore me!
